The was no Day 17. After a couple nights of little and bad sleep, I couldn't concentrate on anything well enough not to make it worse.

I'm still knitting! I hope to post a couple of pictures soon. One ball of yarn is used up and I'm halfway through another. I didn't realize until I counted on a calendar that I spent a solid three weeks being sick, so I tried to do as little as possible this weekend.

I'm still crafting, I promise! Almost finished the first Christmas ornament. A little bit behind schedule, but I'll try to catch up.

I prodded the girls into finishing the Halloween ornaments, and I sat down and sewed 18 goodie bags from a sheet in my stash; it's almost the school colors.

I started sketching a new papercut yesterday. Between the Blue Jays game and the federal election, last night was pretty busy!

Today, I started sewing on the messenger bag. I didn't get far. I spent most of the afternoon trying to figure out why my bobbin tension was so awful, just to find a couple small fragments of thread from projects past caught in the bobbin carriage and thread plate. It took way too long to get them out, but now my machine is humming along like it ( Read more... )
